Mick Young. Quality Workmanship Through Planning and Pride. Mick Young, Builders License No 89063C, has had 20 years experience building custom homes and second-storey extensions and is member of HIA. One of Mick's homes was a finalist in the 2001 Housing Industry Association of NSW awards for coastal Homes. Mick grew up in Narooma and trained and qualified as a Carpenter and Joiner before moving to Sydney to further his skills. He returned home to Narooma in 1991 with his family to enjoy the coastal lifestyle. Mick continued to further his qualifications by successfully completing his Clerk of Works.
His abilities were recognised by the Moruya TAFE and was invited to become a lecturer in their Clerk of Works course and is now able to pass on his expertise and experience to students who attend his weekly classes.
Lindsay Brown. Serving and supporting the community since moving to Narooma in 1984, Lindsay believes Narooma deserves only quality constructions to complement its locality and community spirit.
As a long serving local businessman and investor, Lindsay has seen Narooma gradually be 'discovered' because of its natural beauty and temperate climate. Unfortunately there has not been available the quality of properties that prospective purchasers demand, so along with award-winning local builder Mick Young, he set about filling that void. The three townhouses in Marine Drive represent the first in a plan to only build properties using the best construction techniques, the best of materials and the best of tradesmen.
